    Media Player Window Size

Since upgrading to Windows 7, Windows Media Player hasn't been saving my window size after closing. I have "Fit Player to Video" deselected yet every time I open a video file the Media Player window opens in the dimensions of the video file as if it were, instead of resizing to the size of the window before the last time I closed it. If I just open Windows Media Player though it remembers the size of the window and opens to those dimensions. I didn't have this problem in Vista. Does anyone know how to fix this so that when I open a video file it opens to the size of the window before the last time I closed Media Player?

    Hi soccastar001,

I don't have a solution but maybe try reading this thread, it's pretty short. Let me know if you find something there that works.

does anybody know how to reduce the hight of the player in window 7?
in XP you could reduce the player hight down to like a 100 pixels, showing the play options and status play bar only, but now the minium is like 400 pixels in hieght
