    Weird Text Effects

For quite some time now my Windows 7 has been displaying weird looking text effects. They are really blurry and bulky. I need to note that this doesn't happen on Windows 8.1 which I am dual booting.

It does this on all my browsers and now I am discovering it does it on itunes. Look where it says 0.99.

Where it says "Ratings and Reviews, Related, Songs, $9.99 Buy, 0.99 and Preview all" It is not supposed to look like that. It does this on my browsers too.

This is what tumblr looks like. Notice how wrong the text looks.

Here is a picture from my moms laptop Windows 7: You can see the difference

Also sometimes lower case I's are capitals too.

When did it happen? Have you done malware scans?

Also perhaps your W7 color synchronization or whatever they call it, calibration or something.. if the gamma is out of whack you can get very blurry text.

But first I'd try a bunch of malware scans. MBAM first I think.

This has been a problem for over a year. I am sure malware has nothing to do with this. I scan and clean my PC daily.

You might try to switch to Software rendering,

Other browsers have the same options,
If it does any good check for graphics card driver updates,
    Cheers.

My friend helped me find the answer. Windows was using the font "Helvetica Neue" which when used in this way it looks TERRIBLE! So I deleted the fonts. And now all is normal!

Thank you all for your help.
