Got this to finally load and install
Download System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB947821) [November 2013] from Official Microsoft Download Center
    Installed Hot Fix file.
Now that it is installed where do I find it to run it.
    Must be brain dead today.

That is supposed to let you uninstall updates Dennis. Open WU, in the lower LEFT click Installed Updates. When you highlight one the uninstall option appears near the top. :)

SURT and the HOTFIX are two things... The After having request the Hotfix from MS and installed, you can after reboot, re-run sfc /scannow for it to repair corruption.

SURT can be run whenever you want before the patch tuesday ones.

Then you can do Windows Update...

All updates downloaded/rebooted then when completed I ran sfc /scannow and no problems found.
Thank you Non for you assistance.

    Yes the temps dropped nicely.
    Everything below 50 deg C.

When I first ran sfc /scannow early this morning it found and repaired on its own.
So I don't know what it repaired but everything is running smoothly. Even boots a little faster.
