I now have the same problem using utorrents. I have been using utorrents for many months but now get the message . I am the administrator using Win7 home premium. There have not been any changes made to my computer so I do not know how to correct this problem. I am not very computer literate.

Running torrents is most likely the issue here. Experienced users can even get malware from torrents. They are not very safe, and I suggest not using them. Especially for people who are not very computer savvy.

If you notice any other signs of infection, I suggest you head over to the System Security - Windows 7 Help Forums forum.

    Hi,

I too encountered this issue (which is quite annoying) and amazingly I found the answer on youtube!

Basically, what you have to do is to open regedit (Run > regedit > OK) and then go to

    HKLM > Software > Policies > Microsoft > Windows > safer > codeidentifiers > 0

where you will find a subkey named Paths. Double click it if you want to review the software that is being blocked by Windows (in case there are programs that you want to block this way), if not just delete the Paths key.
    Restart the computer and voila!
