Missing Favorites folder from Windows Explorer

There's lots of advice about how to add folders to one's Windows Explorer Favorites folder, but mine is totally missing! Can anyone tell me how to restore the favorites folder to Windows Explorer in Windows 7? Note, I mean Windows Explorer, not Internet Explorer.

Hello Sorb,

If you mean Favorites in the navigation pane of Windows Explorer, then it depends on how you or whatever removed it

You might see if the tutorial below may be able to help add it back.

Favorites - Add or Remove from Navigation Pane

Hope this helps, :)

Thanks folks

Thanks heaps...that worked perfectly.
I'm a little embarrassed because I've been using Windows 7 for what now seems like forever. I think that during early days I did go through a similar process to remove what I then thought was a useless folder.
I then moved to using XYplorer instead of Windows Explorer but now I'm finding that XYplorer has some issues for me so I've returned to Windows Explorer.
Thanks again.
