    Hello mate I didn't uninstall bit defender I reinstalled it and uninstalled Norton I think that is me sorted

    Hello guys sorry to bring up an old thread but I my computer is still freezing even after following instructions on this forum does anyone know why this is happening, The problem is when I first turn my computer on if I don't anything say for about 2 min of turning the computer on it will freeze don't know why this is happening. Thanks in advance for any help

    That might be Norton scanning the system at boot-time. To test, uninstall it and reboot. Any quicker?

    Can you Help Me Please


    Hello something has went wrong with my computer it was working perfectly until last week then it froze on mid of work and restarted with funny graphics (I don't have a clue about computers so dont know whats wrong) I will attach a picture and thanks for any help

    looks like an artifact, Think the systems gpu/ on bored graphics could have died, Dont take this as 100% correct, i may be wrong but il forward this thread, Also, what happens when you restart? Same thing i assume?

    Power off, wait 5 seconds and power on again. No readable data on screen at all? Not even the BIOS text?

    Looks like sync problems. Could be the GPU or simply the cable from the MB to the display. Unless you're handy at PC repairs, your best choice is to take it to a service center. Have them pre-order the cable and try that first. Otherwise, it's new motherboard time. The cost of replacing a MB at a center will put you pretty close to a new laptop though.
