Windows 7: Can a Win 7 Home Pre. serial work on a Win 7 Ultimate?

I believe that removing ei.cfg to open up the selection of different versions, is probably a violation of the EULA.

Indeed it is...

Which is why I entered that statement to counter the idea that their going to use the Ultimate DVD to install Home Premium

Thanks Zid! .. Exactly..I wasn't doing anything but making a statement about the legality of removing the ei.conf, not the ethics involved.. That is up to the individual..
