I don't know what you're talking about. I downloaded it from first google link I clicked.
I posted a link to the only place you can purchase Windows Style Builder in this post How to have the same theme customization freedom as with XP?

    Ave's Windows7 Style Builder

There is no Version. 2.1.520.125, even the new beta that has not been officially released yet does not have that high a number.

Even the title at the top of the program is different and I know mine is legit because I purchased it, did you purchase that version?

I did run a .bat patch to make it Windows 7 compatible because it would only install for Vista before. No I did not buy it, I searched for a shareware/freeware version but it didn't work with Win7 either so that patch fixed that.

I've made substantial progress so far and could customize even better than I could with XP. Of course, only because that guide gave me pointers where to find everything otherwise I'd be lost. I'm still yet to find where to change the black text in Tree View though. It's annoying because it's hard to see the text on WSB because of that. Do you confirm that the value you pointed me to really changes the color on your system?

I am somewhat baffled the answer is in the second screen shot

If you read the words “To turn on Windows Aero..........” Etc Turn on Areo and you can then change the colours as you please. :)

I'm trying to get rid of the blinding white backgrounds and making them a darker color with brighter text. I refuse to use the nauseating classic theme or the high contrast black or the depressing custom black themes found online.

How do I get to this screen? http://www.pallareviews.com/wp-conte..._Windows_7.png Clicking Windows Color on Personalize instead gives me http://www.pallareviews.com/wp-conte...0_04-41-40.png which doesn't do anything.

    Using 7 Ultimate.

To see the first screen he needs Aero turned on the second screen can then be seen using "Advanced appearance settings........"

Odd - when I do it I get the screen you're after. Does this mean I have aero on or off? How do I check?
