    Partition Install

    Heya,

I bought Premium the other day stupidly forgetting about my Wireless Adapter (Netgear WG11v2) got home and found out there isn't any drivers for it not surprisingly really.

I made a 30GB Partition for 64 Bit install a few minutes ago. I want to dual boot just to see if there's any chance of the adapter working on 7. If it works will I be able to upgrade Vista and then delete the boot sector and that partition? Or won't it work because I'd have already used the product key?

    Hi Lucy88

You don't need to use the product key on your test install, just click past the screen that asks for it and you're good for 30 days.

BTW I think you will find that the WG111v2 will work with 7 although you may need to use the Vista drivers which should be fine

Installed it on the partition but now when booting up it won't let me select an OS Windows 7 is highlighted and it just times out and loads that even though I want to select Vista.

USB Keyboard works fine because I can go into bios when it first boots and then use wordpad and other stuff when the 7 loads.

Edit: Works fine if I use a PS2 keyboard :S
