I deleted the system reserved partition which was apparently essential to booting the computer I literally have no options, off the bat.. Is what I'm saying. On this computer it says 'Press Esc for startup menu', I would normally access BIOS through there.

It is not letting me enter though.

    It says 'BOOTMGR is missing'
    Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.
You not only deleted system reserved partition. You also made another partition ACTIVE.

I was told to do so during a youtube installation lol.. i've used it before but the last windows 7 I installed didn't have a system reserved partition.

I will attempt the clean install here, after running startup repair 3 times.

    Startup Repair

As it turns out I have no running OS to scan for repair... However it does let me 'Load Drivers', I believe I need to install my sata driver but cannot find where it is located.

edit: got in command prompt will edit if can't figure out

If your going to re install, what`s the point of running startup repair. If the install is asking for drivers, then you most likely have a bad install dvd or unproperly prepared flash drive.

And you need to use a real Windows 7 and not this custom garbage you are trying to use, technically we shouldn`t even be helping you.

What version of windows came with the laptop ?

That`s what you should install, unless you have a proper retail or oem version of windows 7 with an activation key.

Follow Greg's tutorial - that's all you need. And next time leave the system reserved partition alone.
