What is the difference between 3TB WD cloud external drive and normal

Does the WD cloud external drive back up all of its 3TB on a cloud so that even when it fails, the 3TB of content is stored online so that you can get the contents back if you either buy a replacement for the drive or get one for free as part of the Best Buy black tie warranty? Can you also get a new one free if you have the Square Trade warranty?

Or does the cloud mean that it is only backed up on the hardware itself but is accessible from far away via internet connection?

openSUSE 13.1 64bit

A simple google search returns:

WD announces My Cloud, an external drive that connects to your home network for $150 (video)

Can't answer the stuff about warranties though.

There's also a USB 3.0 which acts as an expansion option
Does this mean you can use the USB 3.0 to connect it to your computer for better speed?
If you play BluRay from the hard drive over the cloud system, would it not buffer?
Can you have the option to use the USB to download and upload for better speed?

Or does the USB only work to expand storage which I guess might mean that you can connect it with other 3TB drives that you would have to buy for a total of 6TB or 9TB or however big you would like?

I bought this WD My Book 3TB USB 3.0 Hard Drive with Security, Local and Cloud Backup (WDBFJK0030HBK-NESN): Electronics

and it says 'local and cloud backup"
"automatically back up your files to this drive or to the cloud with Dropbox." I guess this means it syncs with Dropbox but does it give you some free space on Dropbox or do you have to just use the 2 GB on your Dropbox if you don't want to pay extra?

I'm just curious if this temperature difference is normal for hexacores. Desktop screen shot is attached. Everything is still well below the 91c threshold. Just the wide temperature spread is of some concern. I recently cleaned and re-pasted the heat sink so I guess it's normal, I just want be be...
