Strange Background Tint In Folder Windows

Hi there, I'm new to this forum and I got a small problem with my OS. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (OEM) and it has the latest updates.

Lately I have noticed that my folder windows have a slight yellowish tinted background color. Not sure if it has been like this all along. Is this normal with Windows 7? I would like to have it pure white if possible.

Here's a screenshot I took on my pc.
    imgur: the simple image sharer

The image is big and will fill your browser if your resolution is 1080p or smaller. Just go back to previous page to return to normal view.

Messing with Window Color and Appearance settings only affects the window border.

If anyone has a solution I would appreciate it a lot

After some searching it seems the color of the window is normal. However I would like it to be pure white like the browser background. Also would like the window border to have completely no color saturation/intensity which I am unable to attain using the Window Color and Appearance settings.

I'd imagine it can be done by simply changing a few color values. Do you know of any reliable way I can achieve what I want?

    Thanks.

If you are using the default aero theme I can change that for you, using Windows Style Builder and post it here in a zip folder.
If you are using a custom theme you will need to ask the theme maker. It's not cool to change someone else work.
    &
This will be a custom theme and you will need to do 1 of these 2 ways of Enabling custom themes for it to work.
Enabling Custom Themes - Windows 7
    Or
Theme - How to Apply Custom Themes

    Let me know.

Yes Bongo! That first picture was exactly what I had in mind, although the custom icons and buttons are not necessary.

Currently I'm using ordinary Windows Aero with simple wallpaper and the Window Color set to be as colorless as possible. I have never modified my theme beyond that or used custom themes.

If you could make the theme shown in the first picture, I would be so happy! Please leave the icons and buttons as Windows default if that makes it easier for you.

    Here you go.
although the custom icons and buttons are not necessary.
you will not get them that is mine.

Download and extract the zip folder at the bottom of this post to your Desktop.

Put both the No_Color_Frame theme folder and the No_Color_Frame.theme file in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

It will show up under Installed Themes as No_Color_Frame in Personalization.

The new theme is awesome Thank you so much!

But I still get the tinted color in the background of my folders...

I know of AveFolderBG and the background changer from door2windows, but they use an image to set as the background plus it doesn't change the navigation pane.
I would like them to be set as pure white color (without requiring an image if possible)

I found this thread Customizing the left Folder Panel and Folder Background. How? and it says to edit the following using Windows Style Builder:

Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Items View > Items View > Fillcolor
    Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Proper Tree > <2> - fillcolorhint:color

Any way I can edit them without having to pay for software?

As far as the yellowish tint is concerned, have you tried adjusting the hue & brightness in your graphics software. You should be able to find this in Control Panel.
I use NVIDIA & if I right click the mouse on the Desktop NVIDIA is one of the options shown, so I can go straight to it from there.
