Slow Download Speeds on Desktop, Fast download Speeds on Laptop
I am having issues with my desktop. I am getting download speeds using of about 3mbps. On my laptop however I am getting speeds of 20-25mbps. I have run a virus scan and malware scan and both came out as clean. What else could be causing my computer to suffer such slow download...

why wont anything download to my desktop
even when i select the desktop as the location, my computer always stores it somewhere else. how do i correct this so that files will save to the desktop? i meant save, not download. i put download in the headline.

I can't download BBC iPlayer Desktop
I am trying to download BBC iPlayer desktop in th UK. If I click the install button I get something like a revolving barber's pole and nothing else happens. I have Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit but I use IE8 32 Bit. I didn't have a problem with my XP Computer using IE8 and I have posted on the BBC help...
Continual download at my desktop
Some type of file download has been going on for over an hour. May have to do with Exlporer. Ink whatever that is. There is no Estimated time left indicated. I could use an assist in trying to get the download to stop. I tried restarting my computer and shut it down completely and restarted....
