Thanks Rich. Don't know if I am capable but will give it a try. Currently the old dos 1996 bespoke accounts programs and windows stuff print fine from lpt1 to a parallel printer. I read on printfil that lpt1 needs 'capturing'. to redirect . Cannot afford to lose the dos stuff so am a bit nervous.
