sleep command works fine but keyboard shortcut not, any help?

Hi there. I created a shortcut with this command:
    Code:
    C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe Powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState Sleep
when I click on that, it works fine but shortcut keyboard not work.
I set several shortcut keys in this shortcut but nothing works fine. (note: when I press ctrl key it display ctrl+alt, when I press alt key it display ctrl+alt also and win key not work at all). for example I set ctrl+shift+n but this not work.
    any help?

    (sorry for bad english )

I believe shortcut hotkeys only work if the shortcut is on the desktop or in the start menu. Adding control to alt or alt to control is likely to avoid conflicts with already assigned hotkeys.

A more versatile way is AutoHotkey

Or you can get free programs that let you assign programs or files to run when you hit a hotkey. They usually either allow you to type the hotkey in, or choose the combinations from dropdown lists.

Check freeware sites like filehippo, softpedia, snapfiles etc..
