    Windows transfer


    I am trying to transfer windows 7 Ultimate to a new computer, as per tutorial by Kari. I keep getting error message, then I try to stop Media player I just get access denied. Can anyone help I must be doing something wrong

    Hi, Welcome to forums.

    There are 3 methods in Kari's tutorial. Have you tried all of them?

    You can try this one as well. If you just want to transfer your user files and settings from one computer to another using the Windows Easy Transfer tool.

    Can you describe exactly what you`re doing, are you moving the hard drive to another pc without re installing windows etc ?

    Yes I want to transfer complete hard drive to a new computer. I tried the Kari tutorial and I get error message after I run sysprep. I tried stop windows media player but could not access
