    OS Migration

Have anyone tried moving their OS with the Samsung Magician tool? I may use this in the future when i get my Dell XPS 8700.

I never tried it, too many others have had problems with it. I use Paragon Migrate OS to SSD ($19.95). It works perfect every time.

The reason why i want to use the Magician tool is because i might get a Samsung 840 Evo and i think it will work better since it is made specifically made for their SSDs.

Yes I have used it to migrate from one SSD to a new Samsung 840 Pro 256Gb & it worked perfectly. There is an Adobe text manual on the Magician disc which has a lot of info & should definitely be read before you migrate.

My Samsung SSD came with the DVD that I mentioned in Post #4, so yes, it is free if you buy the SSD.
