BIOS bug/error

Hey guys,

I have a Gigabyte H61M-USB3V for my mobo, and I tried to install SteamOS however it installed but got stuck on a update loop so I went to re-install Windows 7. Now, for some weird reason whenever I go to see my boot order, my hard drive and my cd drive is there and then 'steamos' is there. The hard drive has been formatted too as I continued with the Windows 7 installation.

I have reset to default settings as well.

What could be done?

George

Where I can select what device to boot to, like my hard drive, cd-rom, and finally my usb installation. But on the last option, steamos is listed there

Interesting, had not heard about that before.

I still don't understand why SteamOS would be a choice from the BIOS boot menu or one time boot menu.

Wouldn't hurt. Once you do that, go into BIOS setup and set date/time and other options you want/need.
