    Disk partition


    I want to install UBUNTU with my win 7 ultimate 32 bit os.
    My disk partition is as follows..
    My windows directory is in C drive with 195GB space.
    Can i shrink "c" Volume,to allocate 10 GB for UBUNTU??


    Also can i install this os through win7 usb/dvd download tool??

    Yes. Right click on your partition, shrink volume. Now when you do an Ubuntu install it will ask you which partition. Simply choose the one you just created.

    You cannot shrink C: using Disk Managment whilst booted into Windows...you need to advise OP to use alternate partioning tool
