    Must Drag .exe from Download Folder to Desktop in order to install???


    I have checked permissions of my download folder.
    I have run Windows repair in case something went haywire.

    Whatever I download...I have to drag the set up .exe to my desktop.
    Only then can I install the program.

    Otherwise I get the windows cannot find the file, path, or drive error.

    I sure would appreciate some help with this. I am normally a good problem solver.
    But this has me stumped after weeks of reading and trying various suggestions.

    When I launch something, I right-click on it and select "Run as Administrator". See if that makes any difference.

    Yup..
    I have already tried windows repair tool.
    And I have also right clicked, ran as administrator...no love!

For a long time, if I downloaded a folder from Google chrome, it would go to the downloads folder in Microsoft explorer with the latest downloaded file on top. I'm not sure how I changed it, but somehow the download folder now has the looks of the music library with categories in the details view...
I can't figure this out. How do I click and drag a photo to wherever I want in order with my other photos in the same folder? I read forums and someone said to select them all, rename them, and they will become xyz(1), xyz(2) etc....but first, I need to DRAG and DROP them in the order I want them...
My Downloads folder is on my desktop and I wan't to delete it but it's not a shortcut so if I delete it then anything inside will be deleted also... How do I get the folder off my desktop but without deleting the content inside? There's also a Downloads folder in my user name folder which is where...
