How to migrate data to bigger hard drive and set Msata as boot drive?

Hello, I'm fairly new to these forums but would like to request help for upgrading my laptop. I am thinking of adding a 120GB Msata and 1TB HDD to it (to replace 500GB). My question is how would I go about transferring my dat,a(Pictures, music, videos) to the new hard drive and setting the Msata as a boot drive(for OS and programs)? I would also like recommendations on which Msata/hdd to put in it? I have been considering these: : MyDigitalSSD 128GB (120GB) 50mm Bullet Proof 4 BP4 50mm mSATA Solid State Drive SSD SATA III 6G (120GB)(128GB) : Computer Internal Solid State Drives : Computers & Accessories Seagate 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive SATA 6Gbps 64MB Cache 2.5-Inch ST1000LM014: Computers & Accessories

but would like to know if there are better options available? Thanks in advance :)

I don't think you can use the Msata SSD as boot drive. It is configured in Raid with the spinner and serves solely as cache. It is just a fancy SSHD.

I'm reasonably confident that it has the capability to install a SSD (It has a PCIe Slot labeled SSD and is about the right side for one). I'm planning to clone my HDD (Current hard drive) onto it and use it as the...

Migrating to a bigger hard drive
Hi all, I have recently purchased a larger drive than my existing 300gb unit, which I would like to move to a new build. I have tried to restore the disk image to my larger drive but the recovery disk cleverly assigns the 300gb drive as the drive to install on. Is there some simple way...

Windows 7 Backup Bigger than Hard Drive
Alright so my C: Drive is a new SSD and is 80GB in size, with only 30GB used. When I run windows backup though, it says that the system image is not on just the c: drive, but also the s: drive, which is where i store my steam games. When I add the size used on the s: drive and the c: drive, that is...
