Hibernate Button Does Not Function Properly

When I clicked Hibernate, the screen turns off then after a few seconds, the screen will now show the account log in. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate. I suspected this happened after I installed (dual boot) openSuse in the same partition where my Windows 7 is. Any solution?

It may be the dual boot, but it might be that your network card may be set to wake the computer, which is causing the computer to come out of hibernation.

Go to Device Manager and locate your network card, right click and choose Properties. Navigate to the Power Management tab and check to see that the "Allow this device to wake the computer" checkbox is unchecked, like mine:

    Then try hibernation again.
