Computer will not boot after moving HHD
Hello, I recently got a computer from a relative in exchange for setting up their new one.

At the time I had just finished building my own custom PC and put Linux on it. I thought that maybe putting the hard drive from that computer in mine would allow mine too use Windows 7 (I know now that this was impossible). I put it in and tried loading it. I got a "Multiple Active Partitions" error. I tried numerous things and gave up. Upon putting the drive back in the original computer, I got the same error. I got frustrated and tried every fix I knew of. I used many tools preinstalled with the system. Then, I used a linux disk and went to check the partitions for one from my computer that might have gotten in it. I looked and found a partition that was in FAT 16 and I deleted it, turns out that was a utility partition. So then I installed Linux, thinking it might restore the boot order. After installation the GRUB menu came up, and viola windows 7 was there, I clicked it and it gave me 2 options, repair or start normally. I hit repair and it ran a program that was supposedly fixing an error, I waited 8 hours and it never finished. I then tried start windows normally. That froze right after the 4 Microsoft colors started showing up . After that I tried running some utilities dell had preinstalled. I reset the computer to factory defaults, and a lot of other things and the computer still freezes at start up. I have tried everything I know of, I called Dell but they said my computer was out of warranty and could not help.
I hope someone knows how to fix this. I won't be on again until tomorrow .So yeah, if anyone has any idea whats going on please help me!
