    ehome folder in Windows?

    Hello,
Found a folder C:\Windows\ehome with a ton of stuff in it. Reading on the net say it could be empty, have several mentioned programs, but mine has a bunch.

    Necessary?
    Thanks

It's where Windows Media Center lives. WMC = ehshell.exe. I use it to watch TV. It's a paid for addon in Windows 8.

    Cheers 3D Jed,
Thanks! I have not yet used the WMC. Maybe won't, so I could conceivably uninstall it. What do you think?

You could just turn it off,

Windows Features - Turn On or Off

It's built in to windows seven so I wouldn't start deleting things.
