    Any usb port not woking

    Hello,

Yesterday, my laptop was fine. Everything was perfect. But I scanned my whole computer with my AVG for virus and found about 700 virus. Ok but it said everything was fixed (the virus). There were no errors at that time.

This morning, I turned on my laptop (as usual). But the mouse is not working, every time I move it, it was self-rightclicking. I don't know why. I thought my mouse was broken or it ran out of battery.

But now I think it wasn't the mouse, because my touchpad is not working neither. I restarted my laptop and the touchpad is working again, but not the mouse. I plugged my flashdisk and my iphone and they were not detected. I left them plugged as I restart my computer. Ok the iphone was connected, but not the flashdisk. I plug my iphone because I want to use it as a personal hotspot but it wasn't able to. The iphone is just connected but it seems not detected by windows. So I can't use it as a personal hotspot.

Well, I made this post using my iphone. Can someone help me? The main problem is that I have to download a big file tonight and I have important files in my flashdisk and the usb ports can't seem to work?!
Can someone help me? Did the virus broke my laptop or what? Sorry for the bad english, I know I am stupid.

    Thanks

Wow 700 virus's! Firstly i recomend doing a full system scan every week.

Back to the USB's not working; Firstly update all primary drivers for your PC.
If you tell me your Laptops model number and name i will have a look for you.

Also have a look in device manager, and see if there are any errors there.

Your not stupid, no one is stupid. We all have to start from somewhere, not even the smartest people in the world know everything.

May not need to, if its driver related. System restore is a last attempt.

Haha thanks but I've found the solution by deleting the lowlifter key in the registry editor. it was 7000 actually, not 700

Brilliant, remember to do regular virus checks.
