    This is for a laptop,
    MEDION
    Intel core i3 2330M @ 2.13 GHz.
    4.00 GB 500 HDD
    Windows 7 Home Premium

    I am having trouble loading windows 7 Home Premium onto my gf laptop. Just to make things a little harder the photos are in German but you may recognise the error boxes in the photos.(sorry about the quality)

    The missing Bootmgr is there on start up. Having tried going though the first step of recovery with windows 7 cd and pushing F11 an hour later an error 0xD0000009 appeared (files missing).

    After this I was able to reboot and the was taken though to the windows steps for installing (ie first page, language, date/time.)
    After going past the licence agreement and into 'where do you want to install windows', there is an error at the bottom already (please see photo 2281-B). If I try to make a new partition here another error comes up of 0x8007045d.

    In the Bios menu I can't seem to do much in here even if I try re arrange the boot menu( i have the cd drive as No. 1 at the moment) Please ask me if you need more info from these menus.

    Next i tried going into 'repair your computer' once in 'system recovery options' this box is blank (most tutorials showed windows 7 in here), i have an option to load a file in here from sources - install.wim but this also came up as an error (please see photo 2286-B).

    I hope this all makes sense and I know it will sound armature but any help will be much appreciated and please ask if you need more info.

    Hi Matt -

    As you should probably be able to see by clicking on them your attachments are not showing up Please resubmit your screenshots in our format: Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums. You can attach camera snaps with the paper clip in reply box.

    Here are steps for Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Boot which try everything possible to repair Win7 to start.

    Does the hard drive register in BIOS setup under Storage or SATA devices or BIOS Boot order priority? If not see if you can reinstall it to get it to register, or replace it.

    Are you using a System Repair Disk or Win7 installation media for your licensed version? Is this known to boot and work in another PC?

    If using a new Win7 installation media for your licensed version supplied in tutorial does not work better for repairs then skip to Step 7 to try to force an OS to appear to repair.

    The steps lead up to if necessary rescuiing your files to do a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 during which you should delete all partitions to clear the disk. If this fails work through the steps for https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...ml#post2714895
