You don`t need to talk to anyone, and you do not have to donate anything.

You should have been done by now.

It was in my original post in this thread. Watch the video so you know exactly how to do it. Ask back if you have any questions.

If you'd like for me to do it for you, install Partition Wizard , then install TeamViewer Download at all defaults, PM back to me the ID and password and leave it open on desktop and I will connect to do it.

Fine I'll be here all day after noon EST. Just private message me the ID and password and leave Teamviewer open on desktop.

Do you really even want D at all? Think about it, because if you don't need the storage partition then it's really as simple as deleting it in Disk Mgmt, then Extending C into its space. Partition or Volume - Delete
    Partition or Volume - Extend
There really is no risk using Disk Mgmt, either.

shrink D then extend C pelase. both windows built-in disk manager and third-party partition software could do this.

Disk Mgmt would shrink D only from the right, but C will extend only from its right which is D's left.

The only way to do this besides deleting D to extend C is use Partition Wizard Extend feature which can extend any partition into any other with free space even if they're not adjacent.

    Update on Clean install

It all started when I wanted to move space from the D drive to the C drive. Somehow it got messed up and the Bios went missing... Hubby and I spent a whole day trying to figure out how to fix it and got nowhere fast. The 2nd day I found this great site and several folks tried to help me. The problem was I don't speak Geek and did not know what everyone was trying to tell me. I got lucky, Gregrocker was here and used the Team Viewer to walk me thru a Clean Install (actually he did everything) as he explained it to me. Luckily I had saved everything from my laptop. It took 2 days to get everything put back together. He Created a System Image Backup in Windows .
Now I am a happy camper, I LOVE the new clean version.... I have tons of space on my C drive, my puter runs so much faster. Gregrocker showed me so many neat features I did not even know were on Windows 7. The Hibernate for example. Now I don't have to shutdown everynight. It goes into hibernation, so when I open the laptop 24/7 and touch the on/off key it opens right up. I took a ton of files off my desktop and put in the Libraries file , much less clutter . I got rid of Norton 360 (and having to pay for it every year) and got CCleaner, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and Puran Defrag. I now have weather and calendar Gadgets. Lots more things were changed but I can't remember them all. I know for most of you these are not big thiings but they sure are for ME!!!!! You can bet if I have any other questions I will be back. Thanks so much Greg and all the other folks that helped me...YOU ROCK!!!
