Windows 7: Everything on computer has been crashing and non responsive lately?

If you left all of the HP factory partitions in place which are now useless, then you didn't really get a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. Since you're obviously interested then I would do it over following the steps which will assure you get and keep a perfect install.
