    administrator profile in c:\users

Hi folks, i have question :)

I did a clean Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit install and something i have noticed is that there is a administrator profile folder in the c:\users

What I know is that the administrator account is disabled by default so the administrator folder should not be there?

So, is it normal that the administrator folder is in de c:\users?

If you did a clean install then yes it must be normal.

It's probably a mostly empty profile. It isn't going to hurt anything.

But the administrator account is disabled by default? So why the folder is there?

just because it's disabled doesn't mean that it was never used or can never be used again.

It would be nice if it was hidden until you enabled it. It's not going to hurt anything. I wish the "public" wasn't there.

You don't need reinstall system - it is normal sometimes appear Administrator folder after installation, this folder was created during creating your account profile, and some part of system installation are from build-in Administrator account - when system is already installed build-in admin is disabled. If it you really disturb you this folder just remove it.Nothing important is in that.
