    Windows folder resizing issue

So, one day I clicked and dragged a window to a size I wanted. Now, anytime I open a folder, my computer, anything it will be in the same size and same place as the folder I once resized.

After maximizing it then every time I close and open it, its maximized. Until I restart my cpu then it happens all over again.

This may not work but it won't take long to find out. Open a folder as normal window(or if it is maximized hit the button so it is no longer maximized.) Hold down the shift key while dragging the mouse to resize.

I thought there was a tutorial how to empty the bagMRU setting to flush the folder size memory. But I can't seem to find it.

Well, I've always known that I could minimize windows and then try to Shift+click maximize to "save" the window size which I've tried before without any results. I tried shift+maximize again after trying your method and it seems to be working as normal.

Glad it seems ok. Explorer is quirky. If it works "for now" that's all you can expect at times. :)
