computer wont load windows on boot up

    yes i did Sir George but the pc still crashes and i tried others as well, currently through windows startup and repair i got to command prompt and instead of installing windows i am fully formatting my hard drive i will let you know if that works though i am sceptible it wil

    If you're installed Speedy PC Pro or other scamware then it's not surprising you have problems as you've likely ruined Win7 beyond repair. What I would do is wipe the hard drive during a booted reinstall but this time follow these same steps for a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which compile everything that works best to get and keep a perfect install.

    Hi gregrocker ive formatted the hard drive but i had vista full edition and my win 7 was an upgrade so now bootmgr is missing only i havent got vista anymore what an idiot i am

    You can certainly reinstall with Upgrade version. Bootmgr is missing has nothing to do with that.
    Follow the steps in tutorial.

    i am going to have to find someone who knows how to do all those things as im not that computer savvy but i have done memtest and seagate tools hard drive checker they came back ok but could my motherboard be faulty but i very much appreciate your time and help.

    Hi Greg the cause of my problem is a patch is preventing the system from starting error code ox1f ox490
