I gave you very specific steps to try to install your chipset and SATA drivers, including in Compatibility Mode if necessary, and you replied about Driver Detective which I've already told you is not advisable for Win7.

So it's impossible to know what kind of install you have and if its been the actual problem all along.

Have you wiped the HD with Diskpart Clean command then installed and run with only the drivers supplied by Windows Update? If you want to start over and let us walk you through a diagnostic install then you would need to control old school impulses to stick only with the steps given.

Good work installing latest BIOS as per our instructions. You have the latest which is what's needed.

Are you talking about you hard drive or the USB drive. Unless GrerRocker told you otherwise, a quick format wouldn't take 45 minutes. Never mind, I see he wants a full format.

Disk wipe w full format to see if boot code is interfering. However with everything hAving been replaced but mobo it is either in install methods or more likely mobo. Any tests indicated for that?

There's no test I know of for the mobo, it is usually an obvious flaw or a process of elimination. I haven't read the complete thread but will now, but run the tests for all the components and if they all pass, the mobo is all that's left. If all other tests pass, PSU and mobo are the only possibilities as far as hardware goes.

Have you run your hard drive manufacturer's diagnostic program that will test your hardware? Also run Disk Check
Also run memtest86+ for 8 full passes at one time, it takes 8 passes to fully check the ram. I also linked to the site where you can download the ISO file to burn to CD or the pre compiled USB installer. There is a new version 5.01. You can use that or the 4.20 Version, they are both the same. 8 passes will take around 7-10 hours depending on you computer and ram, so it is best run overnight, just boot into the media you installed it to and let it run for a full 8 passes or until you get an error. If you get an error, you can stop it.
Prime95 will test your CPU. BUT Be sure you Have a CPU temp program to monitor the system as Prime 95 will cause the computer temps to rise very quickly and to get very high. If it gets too hot, stop the test. As with all the programs watch carefully for any add ons they want to install with the program, you can opt out.
