The phone call you got probably was caused by IOBit calling home (China) and giving them your information. A.S.C. causes a problem and then calls home. Then Home calls you and for a fee they will fix the problem.

Be very careful of phone calls you recieve. IOBits has probably passed your phone number to others who will try to get into your system and take your money.

I have created my own extension for a file, which when opened with a notepad, stores its content (properties) in xml format. I wanted to display these file properties in custom columns named like disk size, ram etc

I noticed a few days ago that when I rt clkd on my desktop that the 'Display Properties' option is missing from the context menu. I can access the various settings thru the CP but I'd like to fix the desktop context menu so I can disable the desktop cleanup wizard as well....

I wanted to check what it meant before blindly removing it. After some searches, the only information I could find was that it was somehow related to 64-bit Windows...
