Have you tried deleting the shortcut and adding it back again?

Hello Steve, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You would right click on the program in the pinned icon's jump list and click on properties, then see if changing the icon to the default one a few times may help restore it instead.

You might also see if rebuilding the icon cache may help to.

    Hope this help,
    Shawn

    Ok.

When you get the chance next, unpin this taskbar item, open the program directly from the exe file, then right click on it's taskbar icon and pin it to the taskbar to see if the icon works properly then.

Well brink i have tried your suggestion and its still not working guess i just have to keep it pinned on the start menu. Its most annoying because all the other icons are fine as you can see its just this one....

Well, that or change the icon to a different or custom (256x256 pixel) one that may stay displayed instead.
