    Weird yellowish tint on images,videos etc.

    Hi a month ago i installed windows 7 pro and i dont know when but i started noticing kinda of stripes barely noticeable on the right side of letters,then i noticed that whenever i right click on desktop and the box appears,the stripes appear on the right side of the box.

    Then i Realize the suppose stripes is the true color of the image/video and that the rest on the screen have a kinda yellowish tint and for some reason on letter or boxes for 1cm or so the true color shows(without the tint)
    leaving the impression of stripe or shadow.

    I research the problem and could be my monitor(CRT 17º...lol...yeah i still use it)

    so i need the help of you guys,here 3 images of my problem if you guys noticed the problem(look at right side of the box/letters)then i think its windows 7 if you guys dont noticed nothing at all then i fairly sure its my monitor since it usually this kinda of monitor problem dont transfer to print screen

    here the images.

    my specs are;

    Atlhon x2 5000+
    MB MSI
    2GB ram
    Geforce 8600GT 512MB

    Sorry to say but I don't see anything. Can you take a picture of your monitor with your phone and post it here?

    Definitely the monitor. A print screen will capture exactly what's being sent out and they look fine.

    Yep, its definitely the monitor. Its really not going to be worth fixing so I'd get a new one.

    I'm sure others know of better places but I find this place has good deals if you can wait for it to be shipped. Monitors & Displays | B&H Photo Video

    Another possibility is if you don't do hardcore gaming, you can buy a cheap TV that has HDMI on it nowadays. The monitors with HDMI are kind of expensive right now (or at least were in January when I built my PC).

    Good luck.
