    Laptop Goes to Sleep once closing lid even with settings modified?


    Hello my laptop nowadays wants to go to sleep when i close the lid even though i have the proper settings modified correctly...
    Look here:

    Do you have hibernation enabled? Does it happen right away or after a long time?

    Check here:
    Hibernate - Enable or Disable

    If you're not comfortable with CMD or registry, try option 4

    The link is not helping me, laptop still sleeps.hibernates on closing of lid...annoying

    Are you using an external Monitor, Keyboard, & Mouse and want to close the lid and keep working on the external monitor ?
    When you close the lid the external monitor shuts off ?

    No I do not have a monitor or any other external display connected. I want to keep the laptop awake so it will do a specific something even with the lid closed.
