    Entire computer crash

    Hello,

My computer is running on Windows 7 32bit and one morning when I put my computer on, all the software was gone. (except for adobe) At least that is what the computer displayed. With some difficulty I managed to open some programmes. In addition all shortcuts didn't work anymore and I couldn't open .exe files or any files whatshower. I cannot find the virus scanner anymore and system recovery doesn't work. Same problem when I boot into safe mode.

Anyone an idea what could be wrong and maybe someone has got a solution.

    Waiting for your responses.

    Kind regards,

    Geert

Did you log off and back on after Merging the reg files? If so, try rebooting too.

The only other thing to try first is a system restore.
