WPD FileSystem Volume Driver & Audio

Not sure which discussion to place this in

First my volume icon in the tray was displaying the muted symbol (i think, or could have been a red cross), i had a look and my Windows Audio service had stopped. I restarted it and audio works fine, but it randomly stops and im unsure why.

Second thing was i checked inside Device Manager and there is WPD FileSystem Volume Driver x3 under Portable Devices all with the yellow exclamation marks. Under properties these say 'This device cannot start (code 10). These all disappear when i switch of my Epson printer (that is new). I've tried the usual update drivers using windows but it give up to date.
Also checked the driver with Epson software and it is up to date.

Other USB items ive used work fine including external HDD and mouse/keyboard. The printer works fine although under Printer & Devices there has always been a yellow exclamation mark under this printer.

I've uninstalled the 3 x drivers and rebooted, they just come back the same and not sure what else to do, and if this relates to my audio device stopping?

Can you insert a card or USB stick and see if either changes?

I have tried a HDD into the USB but i don't think the printer supports it anyway, the printer display tells me this exact.

I will have to find a SD card somewhere as i do not have one currently.

Any ideas about the sound if this could be related etc?
The only software i have installed that could have made an impact on sound is possibly Windows Updates.
