    Drive icons replaced by black boxes


    How can I restore my default drive icons?

    You can see the screenshot related to my problem.

    Rebuild Icon Cache - by Brink. That tutorial should get you sorted.

My Win 7 has been working flawlessly for the past few days, but this morning after installing some updates(posted), after restarting I have these black boxes on my Desktop...tried clearing the thumbnail cache after Googling the problem but no dice...any ideas???:(

Black boxes in firefox

These boxes appeared in firefox around links. How do I get rid of them?
When I turn on my computer, it's all fine until after I login. I get these patches of small black rectangles all over my screen which stay above windows and everything (see attatched photo). I located it down to being an issue with dwm.exe as the boxes go away when I end that task. I just don't...
