device mgr device tree recycles up and down

    hello and thank you

to start my list of problems is that in device mgr (control panel) does not stay expanded. there are two unknown devices with yellow dings visible probably my mouse and external display for laptop.

also in system sounds there is a two string banjo sound every six seconds. sounds similar to logon sound in win 8. (From youtube I heard)

When did you first start having this problem .. Do you have any restore points before this happened ?

its been going on for a while. maybe years. I just recently noticed this symptom. I cleaned up restore points regularly to try and improve performance. I have 200 gig and no way to back it up.
I could do a reinstall but it took me years for this stuff.
    let's try to fix? o.k.?

Your Computer was never intended to run a 64 Bit OS ... If i was you i would go back to the 32 OS .. How ever if you wish to keep things as they are .. Maybe a Repair and Install might help ... Read the Link below ..

    Repair Install
