Pinned and open programs not taking up full potential space

    Hello,

I don't really know how to explain this without posting a screenshot.

As you can see, I have some pinned icons, but they don't seem to touch the bottom of the taskbar. I'm pretty sure they used to, and I am not sure what happened. If anyone could help me out, it would be much appreciated.

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum section and/or isn't even an issue.

    Thanks

    -Kieran

Have you tried restarting the computer? Sometimes Windows will just get quirky. If that doesn't work, have you checked the monitor resolution settings?

I have restarted the system, and I haven't changed the resolution. I did however change the resolution to something lower, and then back up to the native size, but this didn't fix the problem.

Mine look just like that, I don't see it as a problem myself, notice our start orb is centered and is somewhat larger than the taskbar icons.

    Hi and welcome to Sevenforums,
Mine seem to be the same height ?
Calculator looks as though it's shorter but when hovered over it shows the bottom is just a bit more transparent,

    As far as a fix,
I would try clean boot and or check for video card/ Video card driver updates from the computer manufactures website,
Also see if running through this check list uncovers anything,

Well, I guess it is a problem then, carry on. Probably a resolution thing, never really bothered me though.

Yeah mine all touch the bottom. That's a strange one.

There are no driver updates available, and anyway, it worked and looked normal on this current driver version before.

Just for reference, I'm using the integrated Intel HD 4600 Graphics, as I haven't got enough money to finish my custom build off with a graphics card.
