    Al Files Corrupted

    Dear All,

I have a windows 7 PRO 64 Bit in my domain. We are using office 2010 Professional and Acrobat reader as our standard PDF reader.

One of our systems started showing an issue today morning, all the documents ( .docx. .xlsx, pdf ) in the system got corrupted. When we try to open the file its saying that the file is corrupted.

It was working fine till yesterday evening. I did run a full system scan on Kaspersky rescue disk. But it didn't come up with any virus attack.

    Can anyone please help me?

    Thanks,
    Sriram A Das

Try running Malwarebytes and see what that comes up with!

After performing Mitchell65's suggestion, open an elevated command prompt, type in scf /scannow and hit enter.

Also, do you have a Restore Point available dated before this happened?

    Dear MItchell 65 / Boozad,

I tried both, it didn't work.

Any other suggestion? Your help will be hugely appreciated.

    Thanks,

If you typed in scf /scannow like I suggested then it wouldn't work because I made a typo, sorry. It's sfc /scannow. Give that a try.

From what i can remeber from your previous posts I think you run a number of PC's on a workgroup in different locations. Where are the corrupted files stored? Have all the other PC's access to the corrupted files? Are the files backed up anywhere?
    What did Malwarebytes find?
