Post a screenshot of disk management, for advice.

Run HiJackThis and post a log of its findings.

Scan with Malwarebytes on full. Post findings.

When you select w7 and boot into it, C: becomes your "boot" parition, however the system partition is what holds your boot files. To format the "vista partition" which is now not C: but D: ?, you can BUT you will need to get those boot files off it onto your w7 partition. I'm sure what's the safest what to do this but don't do nothing till you are 100% sure.

"Run HiJackThis and post a log of its findings.

That's if you want help with the error.

You have to move boot files to D: and mark it active if you want to format C:

Do you want help doing that?

    Log looks good.

    ----------------

H is not a primary partition.

    ----------------
Mark D: as active partition in disk management.

Ensure you can see hidden and protected files well. Hidden Files and Folders - Show or Hide

Copy bootmgr from C: to D:
Copy boot folder from C: to D:, ignoring the warning about not being able to copy bcd and bcd.log. Tell it to skip over these.

Open an elevated command prompt. Copy and paste the following command into it and run it by pressing enter.

    bcdedit /export D:\boot\bcd

With Windows Explorer, navigate to D:\boot to see if the folder now contains bcd file.

If yes, reboot computer and check disk management that D: is system partition. If so, format C: to NTFS. You can use quick option.

Good luck. Let me know how this goes for you.

After, if you want D: and H: to be joined as one partition, use Acronis Disk Director Suite on manual mode to do so.
