    Computer wont shut down properly

Hey so iv been having this problem for awhile and cant seem to get it fixed. So i screwed up trying to update my drivers. I think i installed the wrong updates and it slowed my computer down and it started to not want to shut down properly then it wouldn't start up properly. So anyway i sent it into a tech place and originally wanted them to restore it to factory but it was too corrupt and they couldn't so they dumped it and reloaded windows and all that back on it runs fine now but still wont shut down properly. Any ideas on what to do?

    Welcome to our forum Twisted1555.

If you just got your laptop back from a shop I would take it back to them and state your exact problem.

Well if they did a fresh install as you think they did their shouldn't be a driver problem.
Don't install any new drivers at this time.

Run Windows Updates to make sure you have all the updates.

Check Device Manager and see if their are any triangles or (X) next to anything.
When in Device Manager tick on View and select Show Hidden Files

Before we go any farther please tell us how you shut down your computer. Step by step.
Please explain what you mean by (not shutting down properly)
Be as exact as you can.

Do you have any programs installed sense you got your computer back from the shop?
If you have please list them.

Are you using the computer in question to post on this forum?
