how to re-register programs after fresh OS install??

my pc would not boot, even into safe mode. I was only able to run the windows repair tool from disk but this did not fix the problem. I spent several days on the forum reading and trying suggestions in all related posts to no avail.

I purchased a new SSD and just installed a fresh copy of windows. my old SSD has all my old programs on it.

is there any way possible to re-register all my old programs or do i have to re-download / install all of them?

Since it's a fresh install, you need to install the programs that require it. Some may be stand-alone executables and can be copied over if the old SSD is readable or you have backup. Whether they have to be downloaded is dependent on your backup methods. I personally keep all my downloads plus the previous versions and they all get backed up. I would hate to think about downloading all that again. :)

These same steps for Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 compile everything which needs to be remembered from the old install, how to do a perfect new install, and the tools and methods which will maintain it perfectly.
