    Desktop Problem

Ok, my iobit360 internet security, logon changer program, and smart defrag programs all have this yellow and blue colored shield over them on my desktop. I don't know why my computer just randomly started putting them on every software I download and put an icon on my desktop for. I just want to get rid of this blue and yellow shield over my desktop icons. Please help.

This allows you to run administrator rights on the program with out right clicking and >Run as Administrator.

It will save you alot of time:)

    Hi panthers89fan90
The shield denotes that it needs administrator privileges to run. The only way to get rid of it is to turn off UAC (not recommended).

    .

Oh, ok. Well I thought it was weird because I have never seen any of my desktop icons have this symbol before now. I guess i'll just leave it like that then. I was trying to get rid of the icons because before that shield popped up, it would let me click on a desktop icon and just run it as is. But thats cool. Thanks for the help fellas.
