Want to transition from Total Commander to Windows Explorer. Any help?
Like a basic tutorial of being a mid-level or little more advanced user of it? Best practices?
Not hing special, really, just to replace Total Commander as a general file manager. (Which means, how to best do the two panel things with the Windows Explorer layout?)
OK, maybe 2 things:
1) Somehow it showed files (w/ number in their names) not in alphabetical order, like:
3[...]
2[...]
4[...]
Instead of
2[...]
3[...]
4[...]
As 7-Zip showed them correctly.
2) I need the ability to add something like 2 associations to a file type.
Example: I associated checksum files to an external checksum solution (Rapid CRC, pretty cool). In Total Commander I hit enter and it run the checking, while I could also quickly view or edit the same file with F3/F4. How to do this in Windows Explorer?
A search did not find what I was looking for.
