Do you have windows updates set to automatic ? That is usually set for 3am & that would probably wake up the computer.
I can't change Windows Update. It says I need to be Administrator WHEN IM ALREADY AM!

    Windows is so retarded sometimes.

We are just joking with you about Alienware

How long have you had the computer ? Have you used sleep mode in the past without problems.

look at the bottom on my sig download that program have it make a report speccy then you will know the rest of your specs. as for the wake timers it sounds like you have a bigger issue if you can not open your device manger but under power options you can try looking for them in advanced plan options. When did it start happening, have you installed any backup software recently?

I had the computer since December 25th, 2012. I never necessarily had any problems with the computer waking up before, but when I visit my dad's house, usually for the summer or for special holidays like Christmas, my computer just gets frequent episodes of turning on automatically after being put to sleep numerous times. I do have a lot of network adapters in my room connected on the walls, and I have one connected to my computer, just to maintain the 5 bars I have.

He states this, so I don`t think it`s an update issue.

"Whenever I put it to sleep, it either automatically wakes up as soon as it turns off or it shuts down unexpectedly"

But seriously, until you figure it out, unplug it at night

At first boot, the screen will show you which key to push to get into the bios.

It will say push F2 or Esc or Del to enter setup.

If you don`t know what you`re doing, leave the bios alone.

I'd rather not do that because I'm really afraid to go into those setups since I'm not really an advanced user.

Here is another way to help us see your system spec

System Info - See Your System Specs

Can you give us any screen snips for problem areas.

Edit: We will try to teach you how to be and advanced user, just work with us one step at a time

My speculations have nothing to do with my administration issues or... that other problem.
