Toshiba satellite L755 laptop crash. please help

Hey guys, so I was watching an anime the other night and all of a sudden my laptop just turns off. So I taught the battery died or something I checked if my ac adapter was plugged in and it was. So I retryed turning my laptop on but it doesn't turn on and only my battery light blinks a few times then stops. If any of you had the same problem and were able to fix or if you know what is wrong please tell me.

    Thank you in advance.

First unplug AC and battery, hold Power button down for 30 seconds to drain resid power. Now put it back together and plug it in. What happens when you power up?

If it still won't start, unplug the battery and try again.

If these fail, try another power adapter of the same voltage. You can always take it to a shop or Geek Squad and they will plug it into their universal adapter which reveals if the adapter needs replacing.

To add to Gregs suggestion if you have access to a multimeter check the output on the old adaptor and also does the adaptor get real hot or not because either very hot or cool indicates problem. From experience it should be quite warm to the touch but not uncomfortable.

If the new adaptor as Greg suggests does not work then it may be down to some other hardware problem. Out of interest how old is the machine?? as I can only find a review that dates from 2012 if that case the battery should still be good as long as you have looked after it.

I already tired holding the power for t
30sec and all that. I even tryed r
Taking out the battery and leaveing only the ac adaptor pulluged in and turn it on, but when I did there wasn't even the blinking light. So I guess as you guys said it might just be ac adaptor
