Laptop can't login or reset.

    Laptop can't login or reset.


    One day, I logged on my laptop and it popped up something and it said,
    "User profile service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded"

    So, I did Shift + F8, and got on the menu to reset me laptop, but it had an Error 80071490
    I went online on my phone and I searched up the error and it had no results on the Error.

    The problem is that I can't login, or reboot.
    So I can't logon to fix the Error, and I can't reboot because of the error.


    Can anyone help?
    It would mean very much to me, since I have to spend a large sum to replace a 9 month old laptop.

Computer Login Reset

I just got a new, ASUS Altec A53U laptop and need to reset the computer login password. In order to do so, it's asking me for a disc with a "Reset Wizard" on it, which did not come w/the laptop. Any ideas on how I can do this? Can't use the computer, otherwise!:cry:
I am logging on to home network PC from 2nd home network PC. Both are Win 7. Apparently, a long time ago, I logged onto \\LAPTOP from this PC as Guest and saved credentials. How can I force the login box to re-appear so I can login to \\LAPTOP with different account and PW? TIA
